Taís and Pipe

Tais was running the Coastal Walk when her phone died. She then decided to run listening to the sound of what was left for her to listen to: the sea, the birds, the wind, the sound coming from other people's conversations.

And that's when she heard a group of people speaking her mother language: Portuguese! They weren't only talking, they were playing beach volleyball, which she already told me she loves, and attempting to make new friends and to join a new beach volleyball team on the other side of the world (here), she decided to go and say Hi!

Long story short, Pipe (as everyone calls him) was part of that group and the result of her phone dying in the middle of her run, well, you can see in these photos!

She wouldn't have listened to them talking and she wouldn't have stopped to say hi if it wasn't for her phone dying.

But... I do believe she would still have met him. And I do believe it was supposed to have happened.

Today they go climbing, diving, running.. I don't know if they still play beach volleyball but I am sure they make an extraordinary life out of the ordinary, and always together.
