Dakota and Ronan


I think most of us fell in love during high school, but there are just a few lucky people who became a couple with their high school sweetheart. An even smaller group of even luckier couples make it to adulthood together, happily, and with their love still strong!

Seeing Dakota and Ronan celebrating being together since high school gave the teenager in me a comforting feeling. It is proof that love stories that start early in life can last, and can last beautifully. If you find the right person, this kind of love can flourish over time.

And how beautiful is it to see them finding the right person so early in life? All the memories they've built together, all the first times they've shared, and all the new versions of each other they've met and fallen in love with repeatedly. They've reached a point Where they can't remember life without each other, and how wonderful is it to slightly forget when life became so much better after they crossed paths!

During our photoshoot, Dakota and Ronan read letters to each other. I don't know what was written, but I do know that watching them cry over the words they've shared made me cry behind my lenses! How beautiful it is to witness two people in love. And how special it is to witness a love that started in their teenage years, continuing to grow
